Developing the mind and the body are significant foundations for succeeding in the initial stages of recovery, but none of them matter (in the recovery sense) without the Spiritual element. The spiritual side of Recovery encompasses the shift in personality from selfish towards selfless. From greedy to generous. From angry to serene. From hurtful to loving, etc. It also opens up the creative aspects of someone’s personality, something that we believe is also important to long-term recovery.
Group sessions are a central part of the program, even though our groups are small. They act as a mirror through which one self-evaluates and motivates oneself towards change. It is whilst watching the transformation of others that one will see the similarities in yourself, choosing those same changes, often small, but still important, for yourself.
One-on-one sessions permit you to address your deeper personal thoughts or memories, within a private and completely trusted relationship with our clinical team, providing the opportunity to explore your challenges even deeper.
While providing the most comprehensive of treatment programs, we also insure that our services and facilities provide the very best of what the beauty of Phuket Island, with it’s world class beaches and glorious rainforest mountain range, offering: serenity, peace-of-mind, comfort and natural beauty.
We aim to return you back home to your families with a renewed sense of purpose, and with the vitality and happiness that are your true birthright.
Each person responds to rehab treatment differently. Some residents will have more engrained trauma or deep seated addictive patterns of behaviour that are tougher to shift. The absolute minimum we will admit someone is 4 weeks. This enables the fog of addiction to clear and for therapy to be effective.
However, Phuket Addiction Recovery Clinic highly recommends that you attend our 60 day program or if possible the full 12-week Signature program. This increases your chances of lasting recovery significantly, which is our primary purpose here.
The longer someone remains in residential rehab the more they benefit from any treatment program, and ours is no exception. That said, most of our residents would like to move here and remain here permanently but this is not something we encourage. We want people who spend the full 3 months with us to then go back to their families and places of work, and be the beacon of hope that shines through and inspires others to become better versions of themselves, or to inspire others to choose a life of abstinence based recovery.
There is no quick route to successful recovery from addiction, it simply takes time. With this in mind we suggest that you stay with us for as long as possible. Each and every day spent within our recovery focused environment is an investment towards your long-term health and personal growth.
