The Phuket Addiction Recovery Clinic in Thailand, works with clients struggling from all addictions, such as alcohol, narcotics, gambling, food, sex, gaming, shopping, etc and teaches them through various psychological and behavioural strategies, precisely how to recover. But what is Recovery and when can someone claim to be in Recovery?
It could be said that an addict who has successfully broken away from their addictive behaviours is said to be ‘in recovery’, but this is quite a shallow explanation.

We, at PARC, are all personally grateful to live and witness the beauty of our own recovery, as well as that of our residents. A client in recovery will frequently share about their recovery being a miracle, simply because they never believed it to be possible.

For those undergoing addiction treatment at PARC, recovery is a reality. Our confidence in our program is fully reflected in our relapse policy: should a client relapse within 6 months of completing our 12-week Signature program, we offer a complementary one month return to treatment.

We expertly treats all aspects of an individual’s addictive disease, guaranteeing a personalised recovery treatment. We want to ensure that you or your loved one have the very best chance of a full and lasting recovery from addiction.

The PARC is a 12 Step (non-Religious) residential treatment centre for people struggling with addictions.

We use the 12 Step Program of Recovery because it has already been proven to work.

Our minimum stay is 28 days, though most of our Residents extend for 2 months. Some people commit to our full 12 week program, which we believe is the optimal amount of time to spend in rehab, if you have the luxury of spending that much time and money on yourself.

We’ve kept the costs down to a minimum, without compromising on our great standards of care and comfort, in our efforts to serve as many families as possible. We hope that we’re able to work with you and your budget. Please speak to us to discuss your situation and we’ll do our best to accommodate your specific requirements.

Maintainable Recovery from Addiction
The term ‘recovery’ means to get well, heal, recuperate, rebound. The program at PARC provides a holistic and fully grounded comprehensive treatment, developing its residents’ physical strength, mental capabilities, emotional stability and spiritual resilience.

Addiction cannot be cured or completely eradicated, but recovery from addiction is possible and can be indefinitely sustained without relapse. Lasting recovery is attainable, so long as the individual follows certain processes and patterns, that are absolutely achievable, although most likely unbelievable prior to commencing the process – for instance, Recovery begins with complete abstinence. How could have ever thought that in order to conquer a cannabis smoking habit that the individual would need to quit drinking alcohol too? Seems odd at the beginning of the Recovery journey, but makes great sense as we progress.

Although we won’t shed our addictive illness altogether, we can have lasting recover by applying the proven tools and guidelines we share at PARC. Much like using an inhaler to overcome asthma, we can show you the way to stop and stay stopped – to lasting recovery.

Recovery Focused Treatment
Our evidence-based addiction treatments are developed using a mixture of the latest in recovery research and tried and tested old models dating back 80 years, proving that addiction can be held at bay and that Recovery is possible.

There is no quick route to successful recovery from addiction. It takes a while to grasp the new way of living, which although simple in its design, is a completer turnaround from someone in active addiction. With this in mind we suggest that you stay with us for as long as possible. Each and every day spent within our recovery-focused environment is an investment towards your long-term health and personal growth. We suggest you attend the full 12 week program, and we will not admit anyone for less than 28 days, because we believe in helping people get well, rather than just taking your money. Our reputation is more important to us than your $$$s.
